Police officer Barbados’ latest fatality

A female police constable is Barbados’ latest road fatality.
She is Alexis Edwards, 29, of Pioneer Road, Bush Hall, St Michael.
Edwards was the passenger in a vehicle driven by Kirk White of Rock Dundo Heights, St Michael.
White, 28, received injuries and is currently at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he is being treated.
Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch said the accident occurred this morning around 6:10 on Bush Hall Main Road, at the junction of Civilian Road.
He said initial reports are that the vehicle ran off the road and hit the guard wall of St Hill Funeral Home.
Edwards, he said, died on the spot. (CM)
