THE police are not saying if they have started investigations into the case of a young male child gyrating on an adult female on Grand Kadooment Day along Bank Hall Main Road, St Michael, as circulated in the media.
But Criminal Investigation Department head Superintendent Livingstone Eversley pointed out that the force, like most Barbadians, was worried about the incident.
“We are not only concerned about this, but with the whole issue of lewd behaviour you see from time to time,” Eversley stated.
When asked what possible charges could be laid against those responsible, he said evidence would first have to be gathered before police could determine such.
“There are various pieces of legislation dealing with issues affecting children, but you can’t say at this stage [what charges could be brought].”
