With the start of the new school year just 12 days away – staff at both secondary and primary schools were busy yesterday sprucing up their surroundings. After a ten-week vacation break, the new school term – Michaelmas – starts on Monday, September 10.
A MIDWEEK NATION team visited five urban schools to see first-hand some of the work being undertaken. Work ranged from cleaning up, painting, debushing to building and repairing furniture.
