Pilate said, “Do you not speak to me? Do you not know that I have power to release you and I have power to crucify you?”
Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it had not been given to you from above. For this reason the one who handed me over to you has the greater sin.” – John 19:10-11.
These scripture verses sprang out at me while students were reading and participating in my religious study class last week. Suddenly, a surge of sorrow flickered through my mind as I remembered the mourning of fellow teachers who were suddenly transferred.
However, I also realize that during this intense psychological and spiritual journey, time and silent doctors will heal them. Additionally, a silver lining known as truth wrapped in empowerment awaits them in the Promised Land.
During this period, let us transmute and not transfer our challenges.
I resolve to make healing and positive thinking paramount in my life as I commence the journey into 2013.
Conversely, some people are already complaining about headaches, vomiting, hypertension, elevated blood sugar, acid reflux, insomnia, depression and skin eruptions, all obvious signs of a body out of balance and deeply stressed.
I implore you today to include silent doctors in your life and let healing take its natural course. Here is a short list of challenges for which useful silent doctors will prove effective. (See diagram)
I continually remind readers to exercise, consume holistic meals, drink water, solve puzzles, pray, listen to the soft voice of the Creator, and avoid being judgemental. The old parts of us, including unforgiveness, fear, deceit, lies, jealousy and hate, will continue to crumble.
Change is becoming a forceful reality, so if we cannot change something, let us change the way we think about it. If we do not change, we will be changed – look around and see!
