Woman on counterfeit currency charge

A woman charged with counterfeit currency is expected to appear in court this morning.
She is Ahricia Patricia Gunning, 29, of St Matthias Housing Area, Christ Church.
The woman was arrested yesterday and charged for the offence of possession of five counterfeit one hundred United Stated currency notes.
A release from the police this morning stated that on Saturday night around 7.40 “members of the Drug Squad, as a result of information, encountered and interviewed Gunning in the Departure Lounge of the Airport, and they subsequently found the counterfeit notes in her possession”.
