Students of the Seventh-Day Adventist Secondary School learnt how to position a stethoscope on the body to hear the heartbeat as they were among thousands who attended the National Career Showcase at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre yesterday.
As the Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors opened the two-day showcase to students, the University of the West Indies’ Medical Faculty booth caught the attention of Tara Lawrence (centre) and schoolmates Nikolas Belgrave (left), Natia Leandre (second right) and Israel Simpson (background).
