Barbados win big at AFNA

BARBADOS WON THEIR SECOND game in a row earlier tonight, defeating the United States at the Americas Federation of Netball Associations tournament in Canada.
Barbados cruised to a 57-26 victory, leading all quarters 13-6, 29-13 and 43-19. No shooting statistics were available.
However, it was not as easy as yesterday when handed newcomers Argentina a crushing 89-6 defeat.
Veteran shooter Laurel Browne led the team with 36 goals from 38 attempts and Shonica Wharton was also solid with 31 from 35.
Goal attack Nikita Piggott, with 13 from 16, and Sheniqua Thomas with nine from 14, added the other goals.
