The children and some members of staff of Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School got a mid-morning treat yesterday when Mr Olympia 2008 Dexter “Blade” Jackson dropped in to chat and give a sample of what fans will see when they attend tonight’s seventh Darcy Beckles Invitational Classic at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

Principal Margaret St Hill-Pinder and physical education teacher Marion Johnson-Hurley were just as fascinated by the rippling biceps of the 5’ 6’, 235 lbs Jackson, who reminded the students how important education was and advised them to heed all instructions from their parents.

Here, the students joining Jackson in a posedown. Also in the picture are St Hill-Pinder (back row, fourth right) and Johnson-Hurley (back row, second right).
