LEVI CADOGAN has won Barbados’ first medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico.
Cadogan finished second in a time of 10.27 seconds in the men’s 100 metres this evening.
It was the same as the winning time by Honduras’ Cruz Palacios, while Cuba’s Yaniel Carrero won the bronze in a personal best 10.28.
In tennis, Darian King and Haydn Lewis took just 46 minutes to finish off Cubans William Dorantes and Yasiel Estrada 6-1, 6-1 in the doubles.
Barbados’ mixed doubles squash team (names unknown) beat Guatemala 11-8, 11-8 to advance to the semi-finals. (SAT)
