Witness faints on the stand

A witness fainted on the stand today while giving evidence in the Supreme Court.

The womanwas giving testimony in a voir dire of the indecent assault case against George Henry Brathwaite, 56, of Lowthers, Christ Church.

She was revived by court officials led by acting Senior Crown Counsel Alison Burke, and taken to hospital by ambulance.

The case, which is being heard before Justice Olson Alleyne in Supreme Court No.5, was adjourned until Monday at 9 a.m. (Coastline Communication)
