TODAY’S 16TH RUNNING of the Coolmore “Home of Champions” Stakes And Trophy over 1 800 metres at the Garrison Savannah offers many scenarios that could evolve into a thriller.

This no doubt will give fans an idea with regard to the state of readiness of the Gold Cup hopefuls for the March 7 pattern event.

The card, which gets going at 1 p.m., will showcase eight other races to go along with the feature event.

That feature, open to three-year-olds and older horses rated 140 to 122 and those rated 121 and below, can play out among the top seven of today’s ten-horse field that have paid the first subscription for the prestigious Gold Cup.
