Barbados Pride all out for 275

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Trinidad & Tobago Red Force were 26 without loss off five overs at lunch on the second day of their sixth round WICB PCL 4-Day cricket match at Kensington Oval today.

The not out batsmen were left-hander Evin Lewis on 16 and Imran Khan, five.

Earlier, Barbados Pride were all out for 275 all out off 106.5 overs.

Starting the day on 246 for four off 90 overs, Barbados were bowled out 34 minutes before lunch.

The second new ball was taken after 90.3 overs with the score 246 for four.
Effectively, Barbados dramatically lost their last six wickets for 25 runs in 14.3 overs.

Wicket-keeper/batsman Shane Dowrich topscored with 94 after resuming on 83 and overnight partner Roston Chase, who was on 85, did not add to his score.

Chase batted for 278 minutes, faced 202 balls and struck ten fours, while Dowrich was at the crease for 277 minutes, received 205 balls and hit 11 fours and one six.

Leg-spinner Imran Khan was the leading wicket-taker with four for 65 off 24.5 overs, while fast bowler Shannon Gabriel picked up three for 40 off 19 overs.

Chase was brilliantly caught at the wicket by Steven Katwaroo, diving to his right, off Gabriel (250-5; 92.2 overs).

Carlos Brathwaite, hitting out, was caught at deep cover by Akeal Hosein off Gabriel for four (259-6; 96.2 overs).

Dowrich was bowled off the inside edge by pacer Marlon Richards (269-7; 102.1 overs).

Tino Best, pulling, was well caught, low at wide mid-on by a diving Yannick Ottley off Richards for nought (275-8; 110 overs).

Ashley Nurse was leg before wicket by leg Khan for 14 (275-9; 106.4 overs).

Miguel Cummins was bowled by Khan for nought (275 all out; 106.5 overs).
