No. Initially I wanted to be an air force pilot. I like jets and flying.
What is your biggest professional challenge?
Persons want you to be candid with them but rarely can handle the facts when presented. The method and art of delivering these types of messages with minimal negative emotional impact is always a challenge.
What is your biggest life challenge?
Fulfilling my life’s purpose and leaving a positive legacy for my family, the organisations I am associated with and my country.
When you look to the future what do you see?
I see the credit union movement playing a pivotal role as a nationalised institution to facilitate socio-economic advancement amongst its members and the country at large.
What is your favourite pastime?
Going to the beach and watching classic movies.
What is your favourite meal?
Cow heel soup.
On Saturday nights where are you likely to be?
Home with family or liming with close friends at a bar.
What upsets you the most?
Persons who make emotional decisions without rationalisation or analysis.
What is your guiding philosophy?
Try to be honest, competent and candid when dealing with others.
If you had the chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?
I do not think a day is adequate to make meaningful change. However, I believe the duty-free holiday for a day to stimulate economic activity is something I would wish to see more often especially in a jurisdiction that is heavily taxed.
