Delta State officials turn to BIMAP

HAVING FAILED in their most recent attempt to find an educational institution to accommodate the 70-odd Nigerian students who have been languishing here since last December, organisers have now turned to the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP).

Political sources confirmed to the SUNDAY SUN that top officials from Delta State Youth Empowerment Programme met with officials of BIMAP, who last week signed off on an arrangement to accommodate the students.

This development came after management of the Barbados-based Open Campus of the University of the West Indies a week and a half ago turned down a request from a company called The Centre for Hybrid Studies (CHyS), which was acting as a broker. (RRM)
