Visitors win EFG polo series

FOUR GOALS by the in form Pablo Crespin was not enough to stop the rampaging EFG South American team of Gonzalo Siles, Francisco Guinaza, Robert Mehm and Sam Ryder from riding off with the EFG Bank Trophy in the grand final against Barbados at the Apes Hill grounds last Saturday.

It was a rough baptism for the Barbadian Platinum-sponsored team, comprising Pablo Crespin, Jeff Evelyn, Danny Atwell, and Oliver Williams as the visitors wrapped up the series 3-1 with a nail-biting 6 to 5½  victory.
