Individual held by police in drug operation

POLICE SAY THEY have detained one person in connection with the discovery of about 500 pounds of cannabis at Consett Bay, St John yesterday.

During the operation carried out by members of the Drug Squad, one Barbadian-registered fishing vessel was seized along with ten polythene bags which contained the drug. (PR/NB)
