THIS IS WHEN the Digicel Premier League gets interesting.
The second half of the season gets into full swing tonight at the Barbados Football Association’s Wildey AstroTurf with three matches that have serious implications for all involved.
At 4 p.m., Direct TV Paradise will take on neighbours Silver Sands who are on cloud nine after defeating defending champions Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) 2-0 in their last outing.
A win for Paradise would put them on 14 points and in joint fifth position with Mackeson Brittons Hill, while a victory for Silver Sands will move them further away from the relegation area and just one point away from the mid-table.
