400 schoolboys idle as boycott bites
AROUND 400 schoolboy cricketers didn’t get a chance to bat, bowl or field yesterday as the Barbados Association of Principals of Public Secondary Schools (BAPPSS) boycotted the first day of the new cricket season.

The boycott, which is to protest a new rule by the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) which stipulates that a player selected for the Barbados Youth side cannot represent his school in the same series, is expected to continue today for the second round of the Sagicor Twenty20.
