THE JAMAICAN PAIR of Jeff Panton and Mike Fennell Jr made off with the lion’s share of the trophies and prizes in Sol Rally Barbados 2015.
After the results were made official on Monday, Panton and co-driver Mike Fennell (Jr) collected their awards from Sol Caribbean’s brand, communications and external affairs executive Gina Cummins, at the prize-giving at The Boatyard Beach Bar, Bay Street, St Michael. It was organised by the Barbados Rally Club (BRC).
Panton and Fennell, in a Ford Focus WRC06, returned a total elapsed time of 1 hour and 59.71 seconds to win the gruelling 22-stage event that attracted 92 crews.
