NICHOLAS LASHLEY emerged champion when the inaugural Ford Invitational golf tournament was contested at the Apes Hill Club, St James, last Friday.
Playing in a field of 64, Lashley scored 37 points in the Stableford competition while registering seven pars over the 18 holes.
Ansari Muhajiri was adjudged second on the count-back system with 35 points, narrowly edging third-placed Hadley Byer, who also scored 35.
Lashley also took the prize for the longest-drive on hole No. 9, while Sylvie Beuzelin took the women’s equivalent on hole No. 1.
