FORMER KPMG EMPLOYEE Joel Leacock has won his unfair dismissal case before the Employment Rights Tribunal.

In a judgement handed down moments ago in its inaugural hearing, the tribunal ruled that Leacock, who was not present for the ruling due to being overseas, should be paid $77 176.92.

This includes costs for loss of earnings.
