THE COPYRIGHT SOCIETY Of Composers Authors And Publishers Inc (COSCAP) and local promoters will sit down after the Crop Over season to chart a course that ensures their survival and growth in the music industry.
The meeting becomes even more critical based on the revelation that Crop Over revenue had been steadily declining and COSCAP membership had increased, creating pressure on the copyright body to meet the expectations of its membership.
This is coming from chief executive officer Erica Smith as she spoke to the SATURDAY SUN on the challenges facing the copyright organisation in relation to licensing and accessing of relevant information about attendances at various events.
