Man charged in 2012 drug seizure

MEMBERS OF THE Drug Squad have charged a 51-year-old steel bender in connection with a 2012 drug discovery.

He is Gregory Rudolph Grandison of Proute Hill, St Thomas.

According to police, a car with two occupants was intercepted at Proute on September 11, 2012.

A search revealed seven pounds of cannabis.

Grandison allegedly got out and escaped while the other person was arrested and charged with drug related offences.

Grandison was spotted on August 1, 2015 and arrested.

He faces charges of possession of cannabis, trafficking and possession with intent to supply. (PR/NB)
