BARBADIANS CAN NOW cruise the region on a ship dedicated to inter-regional cruising.

Russian cruise ship owner Sergey Ponyatsovsky was on board the cruise ship Adriana when it sailed into the Bridgetown Port on its inaugural Barbados visit Wednesday.

“I am sure we will stay here as long as we can,” Ponyatsovsky said shortly after the customary exchange of plaques between the ship’s owner, the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Senator Irene Sandiford Garner and port officials.
