BARBADOS are into the final of the Regional Women’s Super50 Cricket Tournament.

All-rounder Deandra Dottin bowled Windies captain Merissa Aguilleira with the final ball of the their fifth round match yesterday as Barbados earned a dramatic tie against Trinidad and Tobago to advance to a title showdown against Jamaica tomorrow.

Playing at the National Cricket Centre in Couva, the hosts appeared well on their way to victory while chasing a revised target of 117 off 20 overs due to rain.

But Dottin uprooted Aguilleira’s stumps with the Trini and Windies captain needing just one run off that final ball to secure the home team a spot in the final.
