Benn Spring main to be shut down tomorrow

THE BARBADOS WATER Authority (BWA) has informed customers that due to ongoing work in its mains laying project there will be a full shutdown at Benn Spring in St John tomorrow, Thursday August 20 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This will affect residents and businesses in and around Conset Bay, St Mark’s, Fortescue, Bath, St Margarets, Glen Burnie and Foster Hall in St John.

Districts in Tent Bay, Bathsheba, Joes River, St Elizabeth, Cattlewash and East Coast Road in St Joseph and Belleplaine,  Lakes, Isolation Road, Franklin Douglin Road, Babylon, Walkers, Shorey Village, Chalky Mount, Cambridge, Bruce Vale, St Simons, Bawdens, Cane Garden and  Baxters in St Andrew will also be affected.

Customers are asked to store adequate amounts of water.
