SOME PEOPLE believe she was pivotal in helping the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) win the 2013 general elections

Hyacinth Mapp says she did the campaign’s most memorable advertisement for the political party she loves. “It is my party and I did it for my party. I didn’t know it did gine win.”

She has been a committed supporter of the Democratic Labour Party for over 40 years.

“I love the Democratic Labour Party because it is a loving party and it bring Barbados into what you all enjoying now,” Mapp told the Sunday Sun. Last week she erupted in laughter while recalling her signature role in the DLP election campaign advertisement that captured the imagination of Barbadians.
