STUDENTS AT Westbury Primary School took the message of reading to the streets this morning.

They kicked off their Library Week with a walk-through of the neighbouring communities, which saw about 400 students and their teachers hitting the road.

Students carried placards with messages like Bee a Reader, Enjoy Reading and Read Morning, Noon and Night. The week climaxes on Friday with Character Day, which will see students dressing like a storybook character of their choice. (YB)
