ANDREW FORDE has had four terms as president of the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (BABBFF) without being opposed.

That will change this afternoon as he will be challenged by former president Manasseh King at today’s annual general meeting of the BABBFF slated for the National Sports Council’s headquarters on My Lords Hill.

King, a senior administration officer in the public service who last held office in 2001, thinks the time has come for a change and says he and his team, if they are successful, will renew interest in the sport.

“The sport is crying out for fresh thinking and new initiatives. Bodybuilding has lost its way,” King said.
