Lockhart now with London Lions

BARBADOS’ BEST BALLER is back  on the court.

National playmaker André Lockhart made  his long-awaited return  to the British Basketball League last week after signing to play with former league champs London Lions.

It was quite a successful return to British pro ball too,  as the 29-year-old point guard came off the bench to score ten points on three of four shooting in the Lions’ 87-72 victory over Cheshire Phoenix  on Saturday.

It’s the first time in four seasons that the English-born Lockhart will be playing in Britain after spending the last couple seasons in Germany following a stint with the Newcastle Eagles.
