Thanks from Cave Shepherd

I WOULD NOT like the occasion to pass without taking a moment to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the public of Barbados for your continued support during the Cave Shepherd Broad Street Redevelopment Project in 2015.

The renovations touched everyone at this location and we know that our customers would have experienced some level of disruption whilst shopping with us, as we opted to remain open for business during the project, even for the challenging installation of four new escalators. Despite the digging, dust and countless departmental moves, you stayed with us and when the hoarding came down to make way for our Christmas business, your support was not only reflected in improved sales but, more importantly, in the flow of compliments we received.

So with deep humility, we wish to thank you, our customers, for your patience, tolerance and overwhelming support. Your positive feedback has given us renewed confidence as we move into Phase 2 of the renovations in 2016, which will be completed in time for our country’s 50th anniversary of Independence. We hope our efforts will help motivate the discussions currently taking place for further investment in Bridgetown in order to protect and benefit from its World Heritage status.

Best wishes for 2016 and beyond.

– Geoffrey Cave, Chairman
