Rocket shard washes up on East Coast
IT MIGHT not have been an unidentified flying object (UFO) but what seemed to be piece of a space rocket created more than passing curiosity after it washed up on the Edgewater Beach, St Joseph, yesterday.
As the news spread, scores of people descended on the area, despite the difficult terrain, to get a view of the object.
There was no end to the theories behind the appearance of the metal structure as onlookers proferred that it could be a piece of the missing Malaysian Airline Flight 370 or a UFO.
Junior Sealy “googled” the partial logo on the casing which led him to Ariane Space Solutions and to pictures of the rocket as it looked intact.
