Woman injured on ABC Highway

A WOMAN WAS INJURED in a two-vehicle collision yards from the crossing at St Barnabas, St Michael just before noon today.

An ambulance responded to the scene and she was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital around 11:50 AM.

Her name was not released as the family was still to be notified.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident which occurred not far from the spot where 72-year-old Ione Dorothy Gilkes was struck and killed on Saturday night. (RG)
