BRIDGETOWN – Barbados Pride, replying to the Windward Islands Volcanoes’ first innings total of 250, were 93 for one off 30 overs at lunch of the second day of their sixth round match in the WICB Regional Professional Cricket League first-class championship at Kensington Oval here Saturday.

Captain Kraigg Brathwaite is unbeaten on 45 off 102 balls while his opening partner Kyle Corbin was dismissed on the stroke of the interval for 38.

He was caught by wicket-keeper Andre Fletcher, attempting a sweep shot off the bowling of off-spinner Liam Sebastien. Corbin struck two sixes and three fours in his 83-ball innings.

Like Barbados Pride on the first day when Kemar Roach went off with a suspected hamstring strain, the Volcanoes also suffered an early setback as an injured fast bowler Kevin McClean also left the field after delivering just three overs. (EZS)
