The ladies of the China National Opera Dance & Drama Theatre not only stunned the sizeable audience at Frank Collymore Hall on Friday night with their beauty, but also with their precise yet delicate performances.
The 2016 Fish & Dragon Festival Gala which opened to an audience of Barbadians and local and visiting Chinese, featured music and dance from highly acclaimed and awarded Chinese performers such as Cao Xue, Cui Xiuli, Shan Chong, Hu Yang, Chang Tong and the stunning women from the Chinese theatre, pictured here performing the dance “Cawei”, which translates to “The Picking Of The Beans”. It raised goosebumps and garnered passionate applause.
