THE NEXT STAGE of development at the Wildey Astro Turf has been given the go-ahead.
Football fans soon won’t have to worry about bringing their own chairs to Wildey after the Barbados Football Association (BFA) was finally given permission to erect bleachers and permanent lighting at its AstroTurf facility.
BFA president Randy Harris confirmed that Town and Country Planning gave the thumbs up on Monday in an interview with NATION SPORT.
“Right now we’re just waiting on the contracts to be signed between FIFA and the providers, but once that is done then we expect construction to be started right away,” Harris revealed. (JM)
