BREAST AUGMENTATION surgery is one of the most requested procedures in Barbados.
This is according to local plastic surgeon Dr Winston Crookendale and Chicago-based plastic surgeon Dr Robert Paresi, who has been performing a range of cosmetic procedures at the Sparman Clinic and 4H Hospital in Belleville, St Michael, with which he has a partnership.
Paresi said while interest in cosmetic surgery had peaked generally, most local inquiries were made for breast enlargement and liposuction.
He said overall within the last six months, there were about 60 to 70 people seeking consultation for cosmetic procedures, 15 to 20 of which were about breast augmentation.
“I’m doing anywhere from four to five consultations every week from people in Barbados or some of the surrounding islands,” he said.
