“IT BURNS me to the pit of my stomach – it really burns me to the pit of my stomach!”
That was the reaction of Barbara Daniel-Goddard whose 84-year-old mother, Jasmine Hall, was videotaped being physically and verbally abused at the Roseville Nursing Home by a caretaker.
Daniel-Goddard, 59, contacted the NATION yesterday after the video went viral attracting hundreds of angry comments from viewers.
Daniel-Goddard said she too was extremely angry when she was shown the video last week by the owner of the home, but she had to control her emotions “and let common sense prevail”.
Recalling last Wednesday when she received a telephone call she never expected, Daniel-Goddard said, Roseville owner Pamela Hill called her and informed her that something unpleasant had happened to her mother. (MB)
