PEP getting ready for elections

THE PEOPLE’S Empowerment Party (PEP) is resuscitated, revived, re-energised, and ready to rumble.

Party leader David Comissiong, speaking to the WEEKEND NATION yesterday prior to the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) organised March for Justice, said they were ready to make a splash during the next elections, constitutionally due in 2018.

“The PEP is resuscitating its political programme. We have written to the Electoral and Boundaries Commission and we will be fielding candidates next election,” he said.

Comissiong said their focus would be to represent the youth of Barbados who would be the ones taking the country forward. (CA)
