VERY SOON, there will be no more house-building in some sections of the slippage-prone Scotland District.
According to well-placed sources, certain areas in St Andrew, St Joseph and St John will fall under a Government implemented moratorium, which will outlaw any erection of structures, including houses.
The prohibition order is reportedly being fine-tuned and in addition to restricting any form of construction might alternately only allow a certain type or size of house in the north-eastern region which has long experienced slope instability and erosion problems.
The moratorium might also restrict sub-division and sale of land.
