Daniel: It’s something in the water

HE REMEMBERS the bout of excruciating pain he suffered in January as if it had happened yesterday.

Six months later, Waterford, St Michael resident Winter Daniel says he has figured out what caused it – it was the tap water he was drinking, he claimed.

Daniel, a former operator at Barbados Light and Power (BL&P), recalled the trouble he had “with a blockage of water”. He said doctors did all manner of tests but could find no reason for it.

“So I came up with the idea of I feel it is the water that giving me the problem so I initiate – me and a partner of mine – to buy some water treatment systems and this is what we came up with,” he said as he showed the WEEKEND NATION a water testing meter.  (HLE)
