THE STARS of Crop Over 2016 were on stage at Ilaro Court just a few nights after the curtain came down on this year’s festival, and the patrons were in full party mood.
Hundreds waved, danced and sang along with Mistah Dale, Aziza, Marvay, Grynner and Lil Rick, among others. Guests at the Prime Minister’s reception in the well-lit grounds of his official residence were overheard saying what “fantastic party music” the kaiso and soca artistes presented this year.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart said in his welcoming remarks, that it was not a night for speeches and his guests demonstrated why they all try to secure an invitation to the hottest post-Crop Over event every year. (GC)
