ONE LUCKY PERSON who purchased a Mega 6 ticket at Hoyte’s Shop, Gregg Farm, St Andrew has won the June 14 Mega 6 jackpot for draw #3705.

The mystery winner who has yet to come forward stands to claim $700 000 in winnings. The Barbados Lottery is urging players to check their Mega 6 tickets for the winning numbers 03-04-12-16-26-27 to claim the prize. The winner has 15 days remaining to claim the jackpot from the stipulated three-month window. The prize will officially expire come September 8, 2016.

Last year, the Mega 6 game produced five jackpot winners and over 300 000 winners in total, with a payout of $4.2 million in prizes, including more than $1.6 million in secondary prizes.

The Mega 6 game has had an excellent track record for creating winners, as noted by Fontana Roach, Mega 6 brand manager: “Mega 6 has been making Bajans richer for years! The Mega 6 jackpot is won by matching all 6 numbers drawn from a pool of 33. Players can also win by matching 3, 4 or 5 of the winning numbers. The chance to become a Mega 6 millionaire comes at a cost of only $2 per ticket available for purchase from any one of the 233 retailers islandwide.

The game’s jackpot begins at $375 000 and grows until it has been won. Draws are done four times weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and are aired live at 8 p.m. on CBC Television. (PR)
