Age gracefully, ladies

Share post:

I NOTICE THAT some women have been using certain named products to get wrinkles out of parts of their bodies, where such wrinkles usually occur as a result of ageing.

They are attempting to use the products identified by research scientists in their bidto look younger longer. Some women are still hoping against hope that using certain products identified to make them look young forever would work for them.

Some seem to forget wilfully and don’t seem to care to remember what Psalm 90:10 says: “The days of our years are threescore years and ten and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow for it is soon cut off and we fly away.” We die anyhow!

So why do some of these women want to look young all the time? Why would they pay large amounts of money to allow surgeons to cut up parts of their bodies in order to attempt to get rid of fat and other things? They have an idea of what society thinks about them and do their utmost to look like who or what they prefer to be or look like, unmindful of God and what He does.

I must admit that some women succeed in making themselves look younger longer, but that doesn’t help much.

But what some people, especially some women, don’t think about, is this fact that if, for example, you are in your 80s but you look like you are still in your 30s or 40s, you might feel good about yourself and receive many compliments from some of those of the opposite sex; but is that all to life? The truth is that you are becoming old but still look young, but as I said, your biological clock would tell the truth about you because childbearing age might be over, ovulation might be “no more”, and if you are married, you may provide companionship for your spouse and nothing more.

So women, you will never live on this earth looking young forever. That will only happen in Heaven. Something else about Heaven that should excite you is the fact that you will “never” grow old there. Why not do the best you can to reach there?
