Two more desal plants

MORE WATER RELIEF is on the way for Barbadians.

This time, the water-starved residents of parts of St John, St Joseph and St Philip won’t be the only ones back in the flow of things.

A second desalination plant is to be constructed in Ealing Park, Christ Church, revealed Minister of Water Resource Management, Dr David Estwick in an interview with the SUNDAY SUN.

The plant, which is expected to pump around six million gallons of water into the system daily, is to be commissioned before year-end, and is geared specifically to complement the commercial and tourism sectors. (BA)
