THE ROYAL BARBADOS Police Force is mourning the sudden death of one of its officers.

Police public relations officer Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler said Acting Station Sergeant Elvis Grafton Foster complained of feeling unwell and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth hospital where he died sometime after 8 p.m. yesterday.

The 55-year-old who resided at Lodge Hill St Michael was a member of the force since 1980. At the time of his death he was assigned to the administrative division of Police Headquarters.

“The Commissioner of Police, and all other members and staff of the organisation, extend condolences to his family, friends and work colleagues.  Our thoughts, prayers and support are with them,” Cobbler said in a release. (PR/NB)
