IT TOOK THE ACTIONS of 59 sick and tired teachers to force the Ministry of Education’s hand to close Combermere School.

This is according to president of the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union (BSTU), Mary Redman, who said the ministry had to take the action after teachers stated they would not be attending the environmentally-plagued school after tomorrow.
