A LARGE CROWD turned out last Saturday night at the villages at Coverley in Christ Church, to enjoy the annual concert – Christmas At Coverley – which featured several talented artistes.
The Blackman Gollop School Choir who return each year, thrilled the crowd once again with their energetic performance, as they ushered in Santa’s arrival.
The sharply-dressed group of men G-Syndicate also blended their voices in melodious harmony, with a few Christmas pieces, such as This Christmas, Silent Night and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.
Adding variety, were the children from Praise Academy of Dance who gave a splendid performance and they made way for the staff members for the villages at Coverley to grace the stage and do their thing in song and a little dance.
The featured artiste was the popular Red Plastic Bag, who always seems to get the crowd up on their feet and moving to his sweet music, such as Ragga, Ragga, Maize and If Ah Sweet Ah Sweet.
Patrons enjoyed food from stalls and also the other items from the vendors. (RL)
Staff at Coverley wished all a “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”.
