REPORTS reaching NATION Online are that former Prime Minister Owen Arthur was involved in an accident along Wanstead Main Road, St James around 6:30 p.m.
The state of his injuries could not be determined, however Police confirmed the incident and said Arthur sought private medical attention.
Meanwhile, motorists are asked to use an alternative route as the road is closed to vehicular traffic. (JS)
