Called to duty on holiday
AS THOUSANDS OF Barbadians relaxed at home yesterday for a second straight public holiday, many others were out and about working hard.
With thousands of tourists flocking to the island on six cruise ships, Bridgetown was a hive of activity.
Taxi drivers in particular were hard on the hustle as they attempted to convert the visitors on foot into customers.
This was the scene at the mouth of 1 800-passenger Zenith as well as in Bridgetown where tourists interacted with employees hard at work. (AD)
